We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Leader to join a leading not-for-profit and bring their expertise to a team with a passion for creating positive social impact in the community.

As the Executive Manager Finance, you will be a key member of Creating Links Executive Team, responsible for financial governance, ensuring our systems and processes are robust, and building the financial capability of leaders across the organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Manager Finance will be a passionate, hands-on Executive Leader with a high level of financial literacy and the ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and manage budgets whilst leading a well-rounded finance team.

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of the NFP sector and government financial systems and relationships, along with superior management and organisational skills. 

In addition, you will have the ability to support Creating Links to meet our strategic objectives and exemplify our culture and activities.

You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and have a current CPA or CA qualification and membership, have highly developed analytical skills and excellent knowledge of business processes, systems, and products, with the ability to develop and implement relevant policies and procedures to meet the needs of the organisation as it continues to grow.

Desired Skills and Experience

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Membership of Professional Accounting bodies
  • Degree qualification in accounting/finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management processes and systems, including budgeting, analysis, supervision, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated skills in premises, plant, and equipment management and coordination of office systems delivering support.
  • High level management skills and experience including project management, change management, and policy development.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management of a Finance Team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level writing skills with a proven track record in financial and corporate
  • development.
  • Knowledge of the role of key stakeholders including State and Federal Governments
  • Criminal History Check
  • Current NSW Working with Children’s Check.
  • Current NSW driver’s license
  • Covid-19 Vaccination
